Keep it Clean

  • Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your tattoo.
  • Gently wash your tattoo with mild, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water. Avoid scrubbing.
  • Pat your tattoo dry with a clean paper towel or let it air dry. Do not rub.

Apply a Thin Layer of Ointment

  • After washing, apply a thin layer of fragrance-free tattoo aftercare ointment recommended by Jasmine.
  • Apply the ointment 2–3 times a day for the first few days, or as instructed.

Keep it Moisturized

  • After the initial healing period, switch to a fragrance-free, unscented moisturiser. Apply regularly to keep the skin hydrated.

Avoid Direct Sunlight and Swimming

  • Protect your tattoo from direct sunlight to prevent fading and skin damage.
  • Avoid swimming or soaking your tattoo in water for at least 2 weeks or until fully healed.

Don't Pick or Scratch

  • Resist the urge to scratch or pick at your tattoo, as this can lead to scarring and color loss.
  • If itching persists, gently tap or slap the area to alleviate the sensation.

Wear Loose Clothing

  • Opt for loose, breathable clothing to avoid friction and irritation on your tattooed skin.

Stay Hydrated and Eat Well

  • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.
  • Maintain a healthy diet rich in vitamins and minerals to support the healing process.

  • Schedule a follow-up appointment with The Inked Edit if needed for inspection and touch-ups.
